My name is Onix Marrero.
I am an art director with 21 years of experience in all areas of design and production.
For the last five years, I have been an art director at Eaton Vance in Boston, MA. Before that, I was a multimedia designer at MFS. Even though most of my recent work is for financial services, I have worked for clients as varied as the Boston LGBT Film Festival, anti-drug campaigns, hair care companies, vitamin manufacturers and churches.
Throughout the years I’ve done branding, publishing, advertising and marketing for print, web and broadcast. I am very well versed in all the tools of the trade: Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, After Effects and Animate CC, HTML, CSS, Sketch, inVision – you name it! I even recently completed the User Experience Design Immersive course at General Assembly, and I look forward to the opportunity to utilize this new set of skills.
I combine sophistication and know-how to deliver distinctive, strategic and effective designs.
I also carried Cher’s luggage. And studied at MIT for a year. And was a chemical engineer once.
